Brian Domenico, CEO and founder of showcase

Participants in the event are special people; the talent speaks for itself, as 39% of them go on to get drafted and play professionally, and 100% have gone on to play college baseball.  However, the larger, intangible element are the personal character traits that distinguish each participant.  Over the last ten years, the POWER SHOWCASE has flourished because of the character and class shown by participants who are also blessed with great physical gifts.

Being a part of the POWER SHOWCASE helps to keep players motivated in their careers.  All athletes, at various stages in the recruiting process, experience physical and psychological challenges, and the sense of accomplishment and pride that comes with participation in the POWER SHOWCASE is invaluable in providing motivation and inspiration to continue on their path.  The event gives participants a chance to take their five major league skills and demonstrate those in a game-type setting.  These young men are in a major league stadium for three days.  New Year’s is a fantastic time of the year for the event because South Florida is one of the most attractive and beautiful places in the United States, and the winter holidays are always magical.

“I want to not only meet each family’s expectations, but strive to over-exceed in providing a vehicle and catalyst that advances the player’s life in some regard down the line,” Domenico says with his special brand of intensity and passion. “I was in education and was a varsity coach for 20 years, and I still love to teach and to deliver experiences that are very, very meaningful. It’s a passion I have, and the result continues to turn out great baseball players and tremendous young men.”
